Course Aim:
To refresh learners on assessing, reducing, controlling, and managing risk in Schools and Early Years Settings.
Contents of Course
Section 1 Introduction and reflection
Section 2 Leadership
Section 3 Managing Risk
Section 4 Continuous improvement
An interactive case study exercise is used throughout the course to apply refresher knowledge.
Assessment – via short answer questions (7 questions) online.

- Identify Health and Safety achievements and reflect on successes and recognise areas of improvement
- Describe the principals of effective leadership in managing Health and Safety
- Identify risks and describe how to reduce and control risk in the workplace
